Tableau Training with Ryan Sleeper is Coming to Chicago, Philadelphia, and Kansas City

Playfair Data is excited to be taking our unique Tableau and data visualization training on the road this summer / fall by hosting all-inclusive, two-day events in Chicago (Aug 13-14), Philadelphia (Oct 15-16), and wrapping up the year in our hometown of Kansas City (Oct 29-30). We will also be hosting our very first public Tableau Prep training; a half-day workshop conveniently scheduled the day immediately after the two-day Kansas City event.

Tableau Training with Ryan Sleeper is a conference-style gathering that covers a 12-hour curriculum developed and taught by Ryan, himself. The curriculum combines Tableau Desktop tactics with the trainer’s own proprietary strategies implemented at Playfair Data across our client portfolio. Along the way, you’ll hear the history of data visualization, see the science behind why it works, and pick up design and user experience tricks. To maximize time for one-on-one coaching during the more than 20 hands-on exercises, each event is limited to the first 35 registrants.

Every attendee of a two-day event receives a print copy of Ryan’s book, Practical Tableau: 100 Tips, Tutorials, and Strategies from a Tableau Zen Master, to help retain the material covered. To complement learning, every attendee of a two-day event also receives a lifetime membership to Playfair+, which currently has over 200 videos spanning eight learning paths. Not to mention lots of extras including a customized notebook and pen package, a flash drive containing course materials, networking breakfast and lunch (for two-day events), plus more.
